Restaurant Coreen + Canal Saint-Martin

After our morning of history and crowds, we walked through the 15th arrondisment to Restaurant Coreen, a Korean place that was perfect for lunch.

From there, we took the Metro to République to visit Canal Saint-Martin.

Bread.  I miss bread.  So, so much.

In some ways, it reminds me of the Chicago River.  But the fact that you can go up and just sit down on the wall, put your feet over the side, not something risk management would allow in the US.

Even though it was a warm day, our first beverage of Saint-Martin was a hot chocolate at 10 Belles, a lovely little spot Sara found when she was living here this past winter.

We went into a grocery store and grabbed a beer to drink next to the canal.  You can also order pizza to be delivered to you on the Canal.  Why don't I live in Europe, again?  I have no clue.
